@Kayla A Sands — I have a JPG of the original sent by a colleague in Germany and a JPG with my partial transcription. I think I followed the instructions for the workaround (including having patience—5 days and counting), but nothing so far.

I would LOVE to share a link to the document (s), but they are on my Macbook. Any suggestions for sharing would be most welcome!

@agaudray I don't know if there is a rule, but if you write to me, I will gladly send you the documents. The "work around" does not seem to be working! You can contact me at (email removed).

@Ashlee C. Thanks for sharing the Community Code of Conduct. I was hoping for help with the questions I posted on 13 June. I am discouraged that my documents have not yet been posted and wonder what to do. Any suggestions?

Thanks @Ashlee C. I thought I followed all instructions. With offline help, I have made good progress and have only two remaining questions:

Near the end of the first section, the handwriting says "… et à défaut de ce père décédé, est comparu George ORTH _____ de_____ qui a donné consentement au mariage … ". I would like to know if George ORTH might be an uncle of the groom.

The 3rd section has 3 handwritten lines which includes: :… la Mairie d’Offenbach et au ______ ____ _____ de l’èpouse, laquelle a donnée le consentement parfait a ce marriage." I would love to know who gave her full consent to this marriage.

Can anyone decipher those words? Good luck!
