Placename help
This page is from Niløse, Holbæk Denmark. Entry #4 on this marriage record is for Johan Jorgensen - the placename looks like Vendelboe, which could be Vendelbø, in Sorø to me. There are multiple entries on this same page with the same placename. I'm hoping someone can clarify the placename and tell me where this place is in Denmark. Thank you in advance for your help and expertise.

Actually, Vendelboe is the name of the physician who vaccinated most of the people on this page against smallpox. It looks like Johan Jørgensen was vaccinated on 5 September 1816 by a different person-Udboe? (not sure at all about the name!). The place he is living at is Nidløsegaard (Niløsegaard).
The 1850 Danish census records that he is born in Holmstrum parish in Hobæk county. See that record here:
.There is a Johan Jørgensen born on 29 Dec. 1815 and christened on 7 Jan. 1816 who is probably the same person in the 1850 Census above. That record is here (entry #1):
.This is him when he first shows up as an infant in the military (lægd) records in Holmstrum (#228):
. See this FamilySearch Wiki page on Danish military records: .Please say "Hello" to Fritz. Hope he is doing well! I really miss him!

Thank you Norm for all the information you found! What a huge help this is for my search. I even found another child to this family that I didn't have before. Fritz says hi and that he remembers you fondly in his classes. :)
