The only source attached to "Jas Gibson" MZZG-9JG is the baptism of Hugh Gibson, son, in 1824. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F5TB-Q4Y, the same record in your source linker shot.
Jas is a common abbreviation for James.
I would say it is highly likely they are the same person.

Just an FYI. It looks to me as if some wrong assumptions have been made previously about James Gibson. You have a Margaret Gibson, daughter, born in Northumberland. Other children also born in Northumberland. Then a list of children interspersed, born in Ireland. One child even born in Yorkshire. The father is listed as born in Northumberland. Hugh, the son mentioned is both born and died in Ireland.
This file has the obvious earmarks of being an incorrectly merged family. One should be all Ireland, one Northumberland and maybe even one from Yorkshire.
These are challenging files to separate out. There is a duplicate suggestion for a James Gibson from Ireland. I suggest from just glancing it over, that the children from Ireland should belong to James Gibson in Ireland, The Northumberland children to the James Gibson from Northumberland and the Yorkshire get investigated.

Thank you very much for your comments. There are some confusing things here, and in this family. I hope I have not contributed to it. I will look at it and see IF my brain can make some headway. But I hesitate to make changes on others records unless i feel confident. Sometimes like a shattered teacup from two sets. It's not easy to put together.
I'm away right now.
Regards.
