I am trying to find the birth of Anton Babinsky. According to his death record he would be 60 in April 1816. He was from Vanov according to his marriage record and his father's name was Joannes.
I have found the following birth record and think it might be him, but the father's name is Johann Georg and I am not certain the last name is correct. Top record right hand side of page.
I have also found the following record - not certain of the place, but the fathers name is Joannes and I think the last name is correct. Last record on the right hand side of the page.
Could someone look at the records and tell me if either one would work?

The first one is interesting. After comparing a P_ and a B in surrrounding records, I think it is a P. It appears to be Vanov.

The second entry ends with sky but I cannot see Babin in the surname given. I also think it is the wrong place. How many years did you search?

This one has been difficult. I have gone forward and backwards at least 10-20 years and have found no other Babinsky's.
On the second record, I have gone forward and backwards about 20 years. I have found four other children last name Babinsky, Father is Joannis Georgius and mother Anna Elizabeth, as well as many other Babinsky's, The place, however doesn't say Vanov.
What I'm trying to figure out, is if they are his siblings or am I looking at the wrong family. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Pay attention to the house # and the Godparents. If they match, you have the right siblings. Also, if the marriages show house #, same witnesses and parentage, it could help you match them.

Have you made any progress on this problem? I am sorry I have not been much help but I have been under the weather. Determining the town in this area as they are written in the records is difficult. It is so hard to translate scribbles sometimes. I think I gave you the wrong map earlier. Here is a recent map: Here is an older map:

I haven't made much progress, I have found a lot of Babinsky's, but am struggling deciphering the records. I am still working on finding the marriage records.
