Where did the church records for Mittweida, Saxony go after 1609?
Greetings!
I'm trying to find a baptism record for an Anna Maria Günther in Mittweida, Saxony in either 1863 or 1865. Her parents were "Henry" born in 1837 and "Mary" born in 1836. According to the Catalog, the Lutheran church records stop at 1609. I've also checked the Germany, Saxony, Church Book Indexes, 1500-1900 database and, although I found 200 Günther listings, none were for Anna Maria. Where should I look for this baptism record?
I will be at the Library at B1 for the week of June 3-7 researching a different German-speaking family line.
Thank you.

The problem may be that the newer church records have not yet been filmed and digitized. The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saxony is responsible for this. Here you can find a list of the church registers that have been filmed so far:
; Mittweida is not included. The original church records are presumably still held by the parishes. You can try to contact them directly, but you will need to know in which church the baptism took place.0
