How do I add a Yee family tree to the existing Yees?
I have a family tree that I would like to add. I don't know how to do it.
My father Yee Kin Hoy, (a Yee Fung Toy Grand Elder at the time of his death & 33rd generation
Yee), Yen Ock Yee Dong (34th generation Yee), and Edward Yee (34th
generation Yee & son of Yee Kin Hoy) put together our family tree. It traces our descent from
the first Yee (named Yee Jing in our tree) down to the 34th generation (Yee Kin Hoy's
children in the Detroit, MI area) and the 35th generation (our children). It shows mostly
males with names in English and Chinese. There are some wives' names.
I don't read or write Chinese. I foresee great difficulty in finding the place where my
tree overlaps with the existing family tree in FamilySearch. Our family tree is on six .pdf
pages of Visio charts. As .pdfs they can be magnified in my Foxit PDF reader and all of
the text looks legible to me.
What do you recommend I do? Thank you.
