My father fought in WW II. I sent in the online form to Veteran's service records. At that time I did not know my father's military service number. They sent back a reply saying they could not find my father's record. Now I need to fill in another form. What kinds of information would they send me? Is it worth it to continue? Any info would be helpful.

It's always worth continuing!! To clarify, do you know your dad's military service number now?? If this is the case, I recommend you resubmit to with your dad's service number.
