Walter Kevin Sánchez, a Guatemalan genealogical researcher with a bachelor’s in international relations, is currently pursuing an MBA. Collaborating with Ancestry Pro Genealogists, he conducts fieldwork in various archives across Guatemala. Certified as a Family History Researcher from Brigham Young University-Idaho, he specializes in genealogical research across Mexico, Guatemala, and Central America. With extensive experience in archival research and proficiency in platforms like Ancestry.com and FamilySearch, Walter also serves as an online Latin America Research Specialist for FamilySearch Library, assisting individuals in navigating genealogical research apps and overcoming challenges in their family trees.
