Changing one sibling's parents changed the other one's, too
I remember posting about this before, but it's past bedtime and I don't even remember if it was in this group or somehwhere else, so y'all're getting a new thread.
I'm in the process of detangling some conflations and duplications and so on. I restored a guy's wife from his change log, and ended up with his children just under him, not under him and his wife. So I clicked the pencil next to the bottom kid, clicked "add parent", put in the PID, told it I wanted the couple, and clicked "save". I was all set and ready to do it all again for the other kid — but he was already listed under both parents now, same as his brother. I never so much as looked at his profile, never mind changing his parentage.
In this case, this was a desirable outcome, if a tad unexpected, but what if only one kid belonged under that couple? Why did it pull this "smarter than thou" move?

That's only supposed to happen if you add the spouse in the couple relationship, not when you add a second parent to the parent-child relationship.

This defect has been fixed. Adding a parent to a child-parent relationship now only affects that child instead of all the siblings of a single parent.
