Share Stories of Ancestors
Here's a great way to get your youth excited about their Family Tree and their ancestor's stories. Create a Power Point presentation that includes memories and stories about ancestors who may have travelled great distances to join the saints in the Salt Lake Valley or other locations which are part of Church History. Any interesting story or memory can be fashioned into a great slide presentation. Including music with the slides is like icing on the cake. It's a great way to bring family relatives to life.
My 2nd great grandfather was John Thompson Rowley was born November 7, 1847 in Glasgow, Scotland and left Scotland to join the saints in the Salt Lake Valley.

Following the title but not what is in the paragraph, it would be great to encourage youth to write memories of their ancestors whom they knew in life, who have since passed away. For example, My grandmother and my uncle, whom they knew in their lifetimes, have since passed away.
