Hello, I am trying to find information on my Father's parents who were living in India but moved to Fiji.  From what I have found on Family Search thus far.

Ganga Charan Singh is my Grandfather and Phul Kaur is my Grandmother

Ganga Charan is believed to have passed 28/6/1983.Ganga Charan Singh’s Father was Bikram Singh but I believe my grandparents arrived from Jaipur, India to Fiji.

I have searched on Family History but unsure if my search methods are wrong. I also cannot find my Father's details Hari Singh who was born in 1935 in Suva, Fiji.

Siblings of my father include Prem Singh estimated birth 1934 death 8 Oct 1983 and Nar Bahadur Singh estimated birth year 1939 death 27 Nov 1988

My search methods may be off so I thank you in advance if you can help me.

I think for most of the Fiji records you would need to visit a Family Search Center to view them (which I presume is based on the sharing agreement from the owner of the records). I was able to locate several records for Ganga Charan for instance on family search. If it helps, my experience is with Indians in South Africa, but I believe the documentation would be similar. If you can view the records I would note their colonial number / indian indenture number / pass number since in South Africa those numbers were used by their descendants. For me those have been the key to mapping things out (since a lot of the time there were no surnames). There are a lot of digitized records for Fiji in particular (for example Australia's national library has emigration documents from when they left India but I don't think they are indexed so you need to know where to look).
