Before the undersigned civil registrar appeared today for the purpose of marriage:
(1) the master baker Albert Reinhold Laube, identified through the known person witness [Ernst] Kuhnt, Protestant religion, born 24 August 1857 at Rawitsch, residing in Hirschberg _____? Burgstrasse 18, son of the late master smith August Laube and his wife Henriette Laube, née Kleiber, residing in Rawitsch.
(2) Anna Emilie Kuhnt, _____? maid, identified by he above [i.e., Ernst Kuhnt], Protestant religion, born 29 June 1853 at Hirschberg, residing in Hirschberg _____? Burgstrasse 8, daughter of the late day worker Gottlieb Kuhnt and his late wife Friederike, née Springer, last residing in Hirschberg.

(3) the master shoemaker Ernst Kuhnt, personally known, 39 years old, residing in Hirschberg.
(4) the joiner Carl Laube, identified through the betrothed Laube [i.e., the groom Albert Reinhold Laube], 29 years old, residing in Ziegnitz.
In the presence of the witnesses, the registrar asked the betrothed, one by one, the following question: whether they declare they want to marry each other. The betrothed answered this question in the affirmative and the registrar then stated that he would now, by virtue of the law, declare them to be legally married.
