Jfr. would be the abbreviation for Jungfrau = unmarried women.

Gesell could be the local word for Junggeselle = unmarried man.

I'll try to translate the entire record but some of the names are challenging.

Here's my translation with thanks to @WSeelentag for his transcription of the record which helped considerably:

41. On the 2nd of November, Marten Bassenberg's little daughter, Catharina, was born, on the 5th baptized. Baptismal sponsors: Hinrich Christians ______? surviving? widow, Christina Hinrichs, Miss Christina Jensens from BütgeSüll?/Süle?, and the young/unmarried man Paul Jensen from Bütgebüll.

Usually the word would be "nachgelaßene" - not just "gelaßene" Witwe - but the meaning definitely is surviving widow.
