Translation Request - Birth Record for Anna Margarethe Hasshagen
I am trying to determine if the person in this illegitimate birth record for Adelheid Dorothe Hasshagen's daughter Anna Margarethe Hasshagen may be a child of one of my ancestors, but I'm not good enough to read the German. I believe the record is on the right side of the page dated Sept 2. Any help is appreciated on what is said other than the two names mentioned.

I believe the record is actually dated 2 December 1838. It indicates that Adelheid Dortohe Hasshagen, legitimate daughter of the deceased Johann Friedrich Hasshagen, gave birth on 6 November to a daughter whom she named Anna Margarethe. Adelheid said the child's father was Heinrich Dreier, legitimate son of [possibly Dirk or Dierk?] Dreier.
Hope that helps some!

Thanks so much. It appears a couple other names are mentioned. Anna Margarethe Arfmann? Margarthe Plump and Dierk Russmeyer? Is there any information on why those names are mentioned?

Anna Margarethe Arfmann, Margarthe Plump, and Dierk Russmeyer are listed as godparents to the child.
Dierk Drier is listed as "Hausmann," which can be translated as caretaker or farmer.
