On the Geneal-Forum there are already discussions on
Wolfensberger von Wetzikon ZH (Ettenhausen not being a place of citizenship for Wolfensberger).
You are welcome to start new discussions on the other families - including Jenta: they are no longer listed in the Register of Swiss surnames - but Billeter has compiled information on Jenta of Wetzikon ZH: in the catalogue shown with the film roll symbol, so you may have to visit the FamilySearch Library in SLC to view this. Alternatively you could scroll through his handwritten notes - which are a bit difficult to read and interpret (lots of abbreviations). "Your" family is on https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSX4-PQ3L?i=2182&cat=193135.

As I found this family interesting, I have already started a new topic on Jenta of Wetzikon ZH with a short summary of the Billeter information.

WSeelentag: Fortunately my grandmother paid Billeter to research family names. Jenta was one of them. She then had the information compiled into a Temple Book. I have digitized all of her work and refer to it frequently.
On the same page referred to above there is a document a little further down from FamilySearch microfilm: 008191940 page 354. I believe it is the original record for Rudolf Jenta the pastor used to make the Familienbuch.
Thanks for the link to Jenta notes. I haven't seen that before and am very interested. Kent

Wolf: I posted the document on the same page referenced above. Scroll down the this page to see all documents related to Rudolf Jenta.
Much of the wording on this page regarding the Jenta family came from a researcher in Switzerland. I communicated with him for over a year, on a daily basis.
