More Norwegian criminal records
Liv Anderson's translation told me that Karl had a brother who was also in prison. So I went looking, and found HIS records: a book, of which I could make out family details in first and last paragraphs, and THREE photos (1901-1903, 2906-1910, and 1913-1915), of which the amount of information decreases over time. He seems to have made a career of crime. Here are links to the two with the most information:
record in book, 2 facing pages. Lists his parents, mentions that he is married with 2 children, but does not give wife's name. It mentions one son - Karl August Sørensen; born 11/6 1898, probably in Stavanger. (I found his birth in indexed records, and also a sister Anna Sofie, born the year before. The mother is listed as Sofie Katrine Bjørkelund.)

The dom books for Norway are not digitized, therefore I contacted the state arkivet in Bergen. Unfortunately they are closed because of the Corona virus until May 5th.
You may contact them or I can check with them at that time.
I checked Norwegian Law online and paragraph 18 and 19 only state that it is unlawful to throw trash in the streets in Bergen.
