Translation Help
Thank you for letting me join this group. I am searching for information about a foundling, Lotero Peperone, abandoned in Genoa Hospital in 1833 (implied from his death record in 1870) - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QSQ-G99V-MY7M?i=18&cat=1911346
His wife was Domenica Curotto, who died in 1909, and their son, Giovanni Antonio Peperone, emigrated to Sheffield in the UK and married Mary Ann Lockton - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-L99V-SZWY?i=1&cat=1911346
I understand that foundlings were baptised at that time in Santa Caterina at Portoria but that church no longer exists. Parish records fall under the Diocese Chiavari and I am working through these records and I have a number of Curotto records I am struggling to translate
I would be grateful for any assistance or advice on my next steps please
Thank you

Sorry, what does the marriage record for Domenico Rocca and Maria Angela Currotti have to do with this?
Do you have the marriage record for Lotero? That might be an easier find and would give you a better age, as ages on death records aren't always terribly reliable.

Hi, Domenica's mother was Angela Gandolfo, who married Angelo Curotto - so I was looking for married names of Angela Curotto as I look through the parish records. I'll look again for Lotero's marriage. Domenica was born 1837 so I'll look from 1855 onwards,
Thank you
