Yes, Julius is a male. He is identified as the son of Andreas in the seventh column. His occupation is "Löscher" = house painter, the same occupation as his father. (Note that the definition for "Löscher" comes from Ernest Thode's German-English Genealogical Dictionary. However other sources define the word as: extinguisher.)

"house painter" ??? (although I often use Thode often myself) - never seen "Löscher" with that meaning. I would think of either a fire extinguisher or blotting paper - doesn't fit when looking for a profession. The only profession found by Wörterbuchnetz is mentioned in Idiotikon:
Ein Beamter, der die Schiffahrt zu beaufsichtigen hatte.
An official who had to supervise shipping.
This would be connected to "Eine Schiffsladung löschen" (Unloading a shipload). From which region is your document? Would it make sense that father and son work in shipping? May not be the above mentioned official, but possibly someone actually unloading ships.

I read the occupation as Bötcher which is actually barrel maker (usually written Böttcher)

Unfortunately the document/copy is not very clear. When I read Lötscher in the first response I didn't think long enough, just tried to find an explanation for this unusual profession.
Bötcher is the better, more plausible explanation.
