Translation:
the 4th of November 1771 [this is the baptismal date]
Friederich Lemmermann and his wife Adelheit Bösen in Reessum, on the 2nd of the same month in the evening at 10:00 pm was born a daughter named Maria. Baptismal witnesses: Jürgen Mo____ken?, Metta Holsten, Anna Margaretha Dieckhof(s).
Comments: First witnesses name is very difficult to decipher.
Not sure if there is an "s" on the end of the third witness's name or if it's just a flourish. The more common form of that name is: Dieckhof (with no "s") and sometimes with a double "ff" on the end.
One interesting scribal point: The father's surname is actually spelled: Lemerman. Look closely and you'll see a line over the first "m" and a line over the last "n" in the surname. This is a scribal device which means to double the letter over which the line is drawn. So the name becomes: Lemmermann. This frequently occurs with the letters "m" and "n".
