Ceremony: Baptism and anointing with sacred oil 

Child: Antonio, born 16 November 1851. Legitimate son of

Father: Daniel de Freitas Vieira, of the parish of Faial 

Mother: Candida Maria, of this parish 

Residents of this parish at the “fê da levada” (sp). [A “levada” is a man made irrigation channel.]  

Godmother: Maria de Montes 

Godfather: Gregorio Ferreira de Sousa.
