Changes to Deceased People who appear both in a family group tree and the public tree

If someone adds to or changes facts for a deceased person who is in FamilySearch Family Tree and also in our family group tree, will those changes appear in the family group tree?

Also, if I change details for a deceased person in my family group tree, will those changes also show up for that person in the public Family Tree?

There are no deceased people in your family group tree. There are only living people. All deceased people, as has always been the case, are in the one and only public Family Tree. (Technically all the living people are as well, it's just that no one else can see them. There is only the one Family Tree which has public spaces and private spaces in it.)

If you go to try to add deceased people to your family group, you will notice that you can't. They are greyed out with no option to select them.

The profile display page is a bit deceiving in this regard. If you are working in the family group and go to a deceased person you will see this:

which makes it look like you are still working in the family group. However, you are not. You are in the regular public Family Tree and this is the same profile the entire world can see.
