Delete Living Persons from Private Tree after creating Family Group?
What should I do with the "Living" persons in my FamilySearch "Private" Tree after creating a Family Group tree and copying these persons to the group?
Should I delete them from my Private Tree to avoid the hassle of having duplicates?

As you consider what you feel the best option is for your personal situation, keep this in mind: at this point there is no provision for copying any information from the group space to your space automatically and if the administrator for some reason tires of the group, removes all the members, and deletes the group, you will lose access to all the profiles in the group.

What do you recommend?
My understanding is that creating "Living Persons" in "My Tree", a.k.a. "FamilySearch Tree", a.k.a. "Private Tree", is discouraged, mainly because this information is inaccessible to anyone else and will be lost when the creator dies ... or loses interest.
ALSO, what happens when you change someone from living to deceased in the Family Group Tree? Does it appear in the FamilySearch Tree automatically or must it be created there manually?

I have now read the related link noted above: https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/159185/what-about-all-the-old-living-duplicates#latest
Looks like it is a personal preference and no "recommendation" has yet been formed due to the newness of the feature, which makes since. But at best you would only delete those who have been copied to one of the Family Group Trees. Others should remain in the private tree.
