I think you need to look and see where Walter Reed was in 2003. Hint: it was NOT in MD.

So the entry needs date ranges. And the current hospital of similar name, the "Walter Reed National Military Medical Center" probably needs a new historical time period starting when it got its new name.

@Gordon Collett Well, do hospitals count as places? It wasn't that Walter Reed moved, it's just that the old facility in Washington DC closed in 2011 and a new one being built in Bethesda was given the same name. The closure was quite controversial. @AnneLoForteWillson If you are able to look at the 2003 birth certificate for the person whose record you are working on, you will see that it was issued by Washington DC and not Maryland. That birth took place in Washington DC.

Yes, churches, cemeteries, hospitals, and schools are all place types in the database.
Also, yes, Walter Reed Army Hospital closed. At the same time, according to Wikipedia, the National Navy Hospital which opened in 1940 was renamed Walter Reed Military Hospital and the services of the two hospitals merged.
So Walter Reed Army needs an ending date in the database and National Navy needs a new historical timespan showing the name change starting in 2011.
