Hello @brother Barry,
Yes, this is a challenging record to decipher. Following is a translated abstract:
Child: Nicolaus.
Born: 8 or 9 July 1704, at 6:00 pm.
Baptized: 10 July 1704, during the prayer hour.
Father: Nicolaus Braünlin, the younger.
Mother: Verena Keller.
Witnesses: Jacob Lang, the butcher; Hanß Georg Hütter, single; Anna, Jacob Soder?'s daughter, single; Rebecca, Joh. Friedrich Eccord's daughter, single.
My comment: The odd thing about this record is that in the heading with the parents' names the date appears to be the 9th, but in the body of the record the date appears to be the 8th; hence the birth date "8 or 9 July". In the body of the record it clearly states that the child was born on the 8th.

Is this record too hard to read?

I suspect that the date given in the top line of the record which is always between the date of birth and the date of baptism (or equal to one of those dates) is the date of entry, i.e. when the birth was reported to the pastor.
