Seeking Schröder/Läer-Löher ancestors and records in Herringhausen/Arenshorst area
Through church/civil records here in St. Louis, Missouri and the kindness of volunteers in Germany, we have been able to learn more information on my husband's great grandfather's family. However, there are many discrepancies in dates and a few unaccounted for children in both countries. Now, we <may> have found information on an Ancestry tree which takes us back 2 more generations, but cannot substantiate the information as the tree owner hasn't responded to queries and only lists Arenshorst church records as source of her information.
Would like to verify the following, and would love actual copies of church/civil records to back up. I have images of a few pages of church record transcriptions on family.
Heinrich Christian Läer b 1 Apr 1732 Herringhausen d 9 Jun 1818 Herringhausen m1 Catharina Engel Schröder b unknown, d between 1774 and 1777 (basing on b of last child and b of 1st child from his remarriage). It seems that he began using surname Schröder after her death.
m2 Maria Engel Dübber b 21 Mar 1753 Herringhausen d 23 Mar 1823 Herringhausen. On their first child's baptism record, he is shown as Christian Loehr-Schroeder, but on subsequent records is Heinrich Christian Schroeder. My husband descends through their son Friedrich Wilhelm b 29 Mar 1795 Herringhausen d 27 Oct 1843, Schröder 21B Herringhausen, bur Arenshorst m Maria Elisabetha Weßel bc1800 d 25 Jan 1886 St. Louis, Missouri USA
Parents of Heinrich Christian Läer: Christoph Heinrich Läer/Löher - Anna Maria Schütte no dates or places
Any help/suggestions, etc are greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

From Meyersgaz.org I see that both Arenshorst and Herringhausen are situated in the district of Wittlage near Osnabück. Arenshort is an affiliate of Herrnghausen parish. Parish register duplicate beginning shortly after 1800 are available on FamilySearch.org for both places. But these would be too late for you. You need access to the original church ooks from the 18th Century. These are accessible at the Evangelical archive in Hannover. At this point they are not available on www.archion.de, but at some point they will be. If you don't want to wait that long, you can visit the archive in Hannover yourself or hire someone to go to the archive and research these families for you. Qualified individuals are listed at www.berufsgenealogie.net
Sorry for the bad news.

Thank you! I had looked at the film many years ago before we knew any names other than his great grandfather and mother. I may revisit the film in the future. Doubtful that I'll ever get over to Germany, unfortunately, but have some connections, so might try to have one of them go to the church archive for copies. Again, thank you so much for your reply!
