German Research
I would like to know if anyone might have some good sites that would help me understand how people would have been sponsored to come to Canada before 1900? A lot of difficult research I am trying to understand and having trouble in understanding. Thanks in advance.

Assuming that the person(s) was(were) emigrating from Germany you may find the following information helpful:
FamilySearch Helper
The FamilySearch Library has microfilm copies of passenger lists from 1865 to 1900 for immigrants arriving in Canada, which can provide valuable information about German immigrants coming to Canada before 1900. You can also visit the Library and Archives Canada website for resources on German genealogy and family history, including information on German immigration to Canada [1]. Additionally, the Encyclopedia of Saskatchewan provides insights into German settlements in Canada, including information on German immigration and settlements in Saskatchewan [1]. These resources can help you in your research and understanding of how people from Germany were sponsored to come to Canada before 1900.
