Curious about Latin abbreviation

I am working with catholic christening records from the early 1800s near Köln.
On the sponsor's name when the women is married, I've noticed, like the entry below, "Elisabetha Brabenders d. Fusswinkels. ", the woman is listed first by her maiden name and the married surname follows.
I just wondered what Latin word is represented by the "d" between the two surnames.
