baptism translation
A second record was found with hand written baptisms (the previous I sent was typed which was really amazing to see) I am submitting this as I feel a discrepancy might be evident. Please look at Joh. Friderich dates recorded for the baptism---is it 11 as typed record or 10th and also what is written under eadom(sp?) Thank you.

resubmitting with image and record found of death--baptism says death is 2 October . Does this record (below) mean burial as 4 October?

Hello Trish,
First image: Eodem = same date as written above ---> the date above is hard to read but I believe it says: 10 October. Under "Eodem" what is written is: on the 2nd of December of this year died. Note that the word for "died" = "gestorben" is carried over into the next column.
Second image: "4 10br" = 4 December. I would assume this is the date of burial because the previous record states he died on 2 December. And the child's age at death is 2 months.
Hope this helps you out.

Thank you for the clarification. I am discovering that there are several typing translations that have discrepancies with the original hand written record along with a missing year which did not have a child I found on the original. It was amazing to see the typed record which made for a quicker search but also grateful to see the original. A family of nine children for this couple has been discovered. The previous submitted tree had five children and no documentation so of course I had to confirm and correct before merging .
Your advise and assistance is so very greatly appreciated.

You're always very welcome, Trish.
Yes, typos creep in when a handwritten original document is copied or typed so it's always best to look at the original record if you are able to.
