Copy to my tree
Copy to my tree is not working. When I select the people to copy to my tree on the family group that was created that I was added as a member and then click on copy to my tree, it says that it added them but then when I go to the tree they are not there even after refreshing

I have the same problem. My brother tried to copy his whole family in at one go, but it refused to add anyone. He added just himself, which worked and added his wife and children with the "+" .
My wife tried to add just herself, but it refuses to add her in at all. I merged two of her in the shared tree, successfully, but we can't seem to get her "family search tree" person to show up.
The two ID's merged in the Shared Tree are GPYT-V2P and G5MW-F36. Her "family search tree" ID is KWHG-VV3.

Yesterday I was able to copy myself, my children, my siblings and their family into a new Family Group Tree without difficulty (70 people). Have you tried looking in the Person List available in the second Menu Bar?
This will give you a complete list of those included in your Family Group Tree.
One thing I discovered yesterday, thanks to Gordon, was the following: once you create a Family Group Tree, you have to switch back to the FamilySearch Tree to see your old "Living" records. To do this, see the image above showing the 2nd menu bar. On the far left of that menu bar there is a dropdown which allows you to quickly switch between trees.
