Finding people with quality ratings

As a first step, could we have a new option for the fan chart? Something like this but with the correct colors?

Ha! I joined this group just to suggest exactly this. I routinely use the “research helps” color coding on the fan chart and this would be a useful addition.

I agree with both the suggestions given previously. Building in a search capability on the Quality Score of the ancestors and using a visual indicator on the fan chart and landscape views to help highlight quicker the quality of ancestor records instead of having to open up each persons record to determine its score. Even a separate screen with a list of your ancestors in list form with their score and link would be helpful.

I would find that extremely useful

I think the Profile Data Quality Score is an excellent tool, thank you.
Could the quality score be visible on each person when you are in your Tree, whether in landscape, portrait, fan chart etc. This would enable users to see at a glance which ancestor to focus on, if there is data lacking or missing.
I live in the UK and almost all my ancestors are English. Before 1837, there are very few birth and death dates as the information about an ancestor is usually from the parish registers which record christenings/baptisms and burial dates. There are very few birth and death dates recorded. Could the 'Data Is Complete' section that signposts missing data show birth/chr and death/bur. It could be misleading for some users if they are inexperienced in family history, and are signposted to data that is not recorded.
Thank you for all the work that has gone into improving FamilyTree.

Thank you all for the feedback. The quality indicator would be more useful if I could quickly identify problem areas in my tree from a fanchart, pedigree view, or list. One current limitation for displaying lots of person scores at the same time is the capacity of the backend scoring system.

Thank you for your suggestion. We are hoping to address this in the future.
