Need context for 1700s (Goercke/Görke in Frankanhausen and Sankt Goar)
I just discovered what could be my ancestors (Johan Andreas Goercke) baptism record:
"Deutschland, ausgewählte evangelische Kirchenbücher 1500-1971," database, FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QP8B-XHLM : 31 March 2023), Joh Andreas Görcke, 25 Oct 1732; images digitized and records extracted by Ancestry; citing Baptism, Frankenhausen, Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, Deutschland, , German Lutheran Collection, various parishes, Germany.
His marriage: "Deutschland, ausgewählte evangelische Kirchenbücher 1500-1971," database, FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QP27-8XWT : 14 April 2023), Joh. Andreas Görke, 29 Sep 1748; images digitized and records extracted by Ancestry; citing Marriage, Sankt Goar, Sankt Goar, Rheinprovinz, Preußen, Deutsches Reich, , German Lutheran Collection, various parishes, Germany.
And child: "Deutschland Geburten und Taufen, 1558-1898", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:C48X-NVMM : 27 October 2021), Johann Andreas Goercke in entry for Catharina Margaretha Goercke, 1753.
My ancestor got married in Bergen, Norway, in 1756: Domkirken sokneprestembete, SAB/A-74801/H/Haa/L0007: Ministerialbok nr. A 7, 1725-1826, s. 70-71 Brukslenke for sidevisning: https://www.digitalarkivet.no/kb20070306660582
He stayed in Bergen, had 7 children and died here.
I'm not sure the German records refer to the same person. His birth year and name match, and so do the names of his later children (first named after German wife, next after his and wife's father, third after German daughter and/or the last of his witnesses at birth (could she be his mother?). I'm also eager to find out what happened to his German wife and child, to decide if he is my man.
There is a distance between Frankenhausen and Sankt Goar. How connected were these villages in the 1700s? How likely is someone from there to end up in Bergen as a wine servant (vintapper)? I don't see any Hanseatic presence there?
Is there anything in the 1732 baptism that tells you more about his family?

Unfortunately I can't see the original documents, only the index. The marriage record may give the ages of the spouses. If the bridegroom Johann Andread Görke is the same as the one born in Frankenhausen, he would have been one month under 16 years old, which makes it very unlikely that this is the same person. Also the distance between these places (more than 300 km/186 miles) seems to be too great.

I didn't think about the age. Thank you!
