German translation help for birth record, includes lengthy addendum!
I found this record for my Great Uncle on Ancestry, in the Saarland, Germany, Births, 1876-1903 collection. The index says the parents' names are Peter and Anna, but I see the father name "Michel Rettgen" and the mother should be Johanna Emilie Kunow. I see the mother's name as Anna Kunow, so assume that would be a variation of Johanna.
Any further help with translation would be appreciated, especially of the lengthy paragraph on the side!

Thank you SO much for your speedy translation. I just found a death notice for Michel Rettgen in France on Ancestry, so that seems to confirm this information. Do you happen to know if there would be any record trail of Michel leaving Germany and traveling to France? Thanks for all your help.
