Cant find Maiden name in Australia
I have an individual GPNW-3B6 Gloria Ellen ???? which I have her husbands name, her date of birth, her place of birth & death. Even voting records, But cannot get her maiden name.
Also I have tried to find marriage documents on line hoping to see it there but seem hard to find.
I'm no expert on these things, but can someone help me by either finding the maiden name of Gloria and or tell me where I can look up this info.
Thank you
Regards.

For the state of New South Wales (not sure about Queensland) if you order a death or marriage certificate or order a cheaper transcription it will likely have her maiden name listed. It very likely will have her parents names listed as well. You can order certificates here: https://www.nsw.gov.au/family-and-relationships/family-history-search or order from someone who does transcriptions of the certificates such as https://nswtranscriptions.com.au/pages/our_services/bdm/order/marbnsworder.php there are also a few others who offer transcription services. Note prices are in Australian money so if you live somewhere else the amount will be a little different.

Thank you.
So one really nice thing about Australia is that they are digitising all the WW2 military records for free.
My fathers records, had a few bits, but not full. I thought I would order a copy of his full records. I emailed them to ask how much it would be, and they said that they will send and email to the body that is doing this and would be available online free. I know for some of the other crew records Ive seen (RAAF) in my fathers aircraft that the records are already on line. It can be up to 40 pages of info. Including relatives, and training and flight data. Amazing!!!! Free, good on them for honouring them this way.
I have not got it yet, they said it can take 30 to 90 days. But wow!
This is where I was looking.
