Looking to Hire FHL Researcher Who Read German Scripts - Do you know of one/some?
Does anyone know of a listing of persons who will do lookups at the Family History Library in SLC? Especially researchers who are familiar with German scripts?
I'm not looking for a genealogist to provide analysis and a report. Just someone I can point to a specific microfilm number with a specific name to look for who will do the lookup and send me a digital image (for a fee of course).

Are you certain that the records you want are only available in SLC? All microfilm has been digitized, and a large percentage of the German records can be viewed at Affiliate Libraries or FamilySearch Centers.

Perhaps I am not understanding correctly, but it seems that this is only viewable in the FHL:

Hi,
Just in case you cannot get access via familysearch, I think that these church books are on the German paysite "archion.de".
If you get access to that via a fee you could do the look-up yourself.
Kind regards

@knittykristi That particular DGS is not available in Affiliate Libraries or FamilySearch Centers, but is available on archion. Or, if you want to hire someone in SLC, I suggest starting with Cyndi's List to find someone to research for you. https://www.cyndislist.com/us/ut/professionals/

Thank you for pointing me to other resources and methods for viewing records I thought were only accessible at the FHL. Much appreciated!
