Help Translate Sibling Birth Records 1842 and 1845

Carl Schneider was born in Offenbach in 1842; his sister Charlotte was born 3 years later. Parents are Johann Adam Schneider and Maria Philippina Altes. Please translate and help me verify dates, names, occupations, witnesses, etc.

Here's as much as I can make out for Carl -

No. 59

In the year 1842, on the 27th of the month of April , in the afternoon at three o’clock, appeared before me Carl Glaser the mayor and civil servant of the town of Grünbach, in the county of St. Wendel, administrative district of Trier, court district of Saarbrücken, Adam Schneider, 49 years old, tailor by occupation, residing in Offenbach, in the company of Wilhelm Peter Kreischer, 47 years old, farmer by occupation, residing in Kirrweiler, and Georg Matthias, 63 yeras old, private citizen, residing in Grünbach, and declared that in the year 1842, on the 25th of the month of April, at five in the afternoon in Offenbach, the child of the male sex presented to me, and [conceived by] Adam Schneider, 49 years old, tailor by occupation, residing in Offenbach, and his wife Philippina nee [Altes?], 39 years old, residing in Offenbach, who received the name Carl. For which the present document was prepared, and after reading and the completed presentation of the body of the informant and the civil servant, was signed in duplicate original.

Thus occurred in Grünbach on the day, month, and year as noted above.

Note - "presentation of the body" sounds grim, doesn't it? I think it just means they appeared in person.

Grünbach, in the county of St. Wendel, on the 28th of the month of March, In the year 1845, in the morningat nine o’clock, appeared before me Carl Glaser the mayor as a civil servant of mayoral office of Grünbach, appeared before me Johann Adam Schneider, 51 years old, tailor by occupation, residing in Offenbach, and declared to me that his wife Philippina nee [Altes?], on the 25th of March this year, at 10 at night in his residence, gave birth to a child of the female sex who received the name Charlotte.

This declaration was recorded by me in the presence of the two witnesses, namely:

1) Leopold Graasmann, 53 years old, occupation of innkeeper, residing in Grünbach

2) Georg Matthias, 66 years old, private citizen, residing in Grünbach

The present document was read to the informant and the two witnesses and with them, signed by me, with permission to strike out the word "afternoon."

For the birthdate of Carl Schneider, a family book based on church records says he was born 15 Apr and baptized 16 May. I will use the baptism date (16 May), but I will use your translation of this document's birthdate (25 Apr) unless you can think of any reason to consider any other date. :-)

I looked at the image again - given its poor quality, I wanted to make sure I hadn't misread the date, but the birth was indeed the 25th of April according to this document.
