Billeter collection: Do anybody know why some is not available anymore?
I have been using Billeters book about the Hafen family: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSVG-FL5L?i=43&cat=72269 (I link I used before). And now it's not available anymore?
It's now just a microfilm you have to order. But it was online before.
Where to write ask why?

I had asked that twice - found one: https://community.familysearch.org/de/discussion/154818/billeter-collection-no-longer-available. In neither case I got a satisfactory answer 😒.
I got responses in German - so somehow it was realised I asked from a German speaking countrs. If you ask from the USA, someone else might answer - just try to ask the help desk ... and let us know, what response you get.
There are the handwritten notes on https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/193135?availability=Family%20History%20Library - but one has to get used to his handwriting and (more difficult) to his abbreviations.

Thank you, I will try.
I see that you did not get an answer about what you asked for. The person just stated it was digitized, but was restricted now. You did not get an answer why it was available before but not now? And why restiction now?

No - as mentioned: I never got a satisfactory answer. I didn't follow this up, however.

I know that work is being done on updating the catalog and some glitches have occurred. You can go to Search>Images where they should be showing up and ask for help through the feedback tab. You would have to be specific and leave an email but they may get back to you there. You could also try How do I request a correction to the FamilySearch Catalog?
