I am new to this community and have never asked for a translation ... so thought I would request one for a document I am struggling with. I believe this is the DEATH RECORD of my GGGG Grandfather (Petrus Josephus LEFEVE) so is quite valuable to my Family History. I would greatly appreciate any assistance someone might be able to give me.

The link to the document is ... https://genealogie.arch.be/541/541_9999_999_686878_000/0_0426 (the record is the "top left)

I will also attache a screenshot of the record.

Thankyou so much

Court B.

    @Courtney Brown

    Could you please post the link only of the actual page itself, not an image;in this sense we can go to the actual

    catalogue itself. This will give an easy read of the page, because for now it is fuzzy.

    The link is as follows: https://genealogie.arch.be/541/541_9999_999_686878_000/0_0426

    Thanks so much for your help. Much appreciated.

    @Courtney Brown

    Okay, here we go,

    Petrus Josephus Lefevre (vre !) 15 november 1831 died at Uccle , 39 yrs and 16 days of age,born in this municipality at town 'Terhulpen', dayworker son of the late Joannis Baptiste Lefevre and of (*Anna'Maria De Knoop') (*i added Anna)aged 71 yrs , housewife and wife of...living also here ;...the above mentioned one=husband of 'Anna Maria (Royvaerts')? aged ? unclear.Then legal terms etc , signing.

    The reason i added Anna to the mother's name is that i found the baptism-entry for the child in the churchbook,dated on 1792 (birthyear= 1831-39) also , the name De Knoop is a better read there.You will find the link to the baptism-entry included , right hand page second entry, also i will include a link to openarch(free to use,..) the site had him several times, his mother also,and a possible sister 3 or 4th entry to unfold.Site links several times to more catalogues.=> have fun!

    Altough i'm Belgian i cannot acces the Rijksarchief anymore(the links you provided are to that archive); has to do with my Apple computer, does not allow untrusted third party software.Anyway....

    @Adrien Kintziger The Community changes the link when you give it its own line, enter>link>enter. The system changes the colon to %3A so https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSBB-F9Q7-F?cat=265589 becomes

    https://www.familysearch.org/ark%3A/61903/3%3A1%3A3Q9M-CSBB-F9Q7-F?cat=265589

    @Maile L

    Yes , i'm aware of that, and for most part i simply avoid to use 'enter' when placing links.The reason to give links their own single line,....weel, if multiple links are offered,it would become difficult to separate them with your eyes, it tends to clog the visual drain.Thank you Maile..for the attention.
