In the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and forty-four, on the seventeenth of December (17 December 1844) in the evening between four and five o'clock, died Valentin Raab, town citizen and shepherd in the town of Langenbergheim, belonging to the parish of Eckhardshausen, age 74 years, 9 months, and 13 days, and was buried according to Christian custom on the 22nd of the same month, in the afternoon at 2 o'clock, in the presence of

1) Johannes Seibert town citizen and mason in Langenbergheim

2) Johann Konrad Reinhard, town citizen and tailor there
