Dear Maria,
Do you know what would be the proper age of marriage at that time/place? The daughter Marianna was 23 yet is referred to as underage. Thank you for solving this marriage record. I appreciate it. Mattie

Mattie, I think it depends on the area and the time when marriage took place, as I translated some marriage records where the bride was 15 years old. But in this area, it is apparent that the bride should be at least 23 years old. In this case it might have been expression of respect that the parents gave permission for marriage. It is also helpful to know that both parents of the bride were alive at that time.
