Hello Czechia Genealogy Group!

I am new to this group and using the Family Search documentation to create my family genealogy chart. I have traced my roots from Vienna to Jaromerice nad Rokytnou and I am trying to find out the parents of my GGG grandfather, Josef Mitscha. He was born in 1788 but need help to read and understand his birth record which is attached. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

    Thanks Jan and Betsylee!

I was looking for Josef and find Kaspar! Unless Kaspar is Josef's real name and he went by Josef. I am very new to this kind of genealogical detective work. I will need to do more work to figure this out.

    Thanks again, Robert

Christened 3 Feb 1787, Josephus Mitscha, Katholic, male, Legitimate, parents: Andres Mitscha burger=citizen and Franziska,

This is who you are looking for. The marriage record states he was 28 years old when he married in 1816. Kaspar is his brother.
