Finding Andreas Svensson
Andreas Svensson is shown as being born 8 September 1833 in Dalskogs but there is no Andreas born on that day in the birth book. There is an Anders born 11 September 1833 but I have followed him and they don't match up. This is the last record I have for Andreas as I have been following him backwards. It shows that he moved into this area in 1855 from Bäcke Värs. but I have not been able to figure out where that is. Please help me to find him.

The place name is apparently "Bäcke"; the "Värs." might be a misspelled "Förs[amling]". Bäcke is a neighboring parish of Dalskog, about 9 km northwest.
I found (probably) Andreas Svensson's birth record in Bäcke:
It is #20, parents Sven Andersson and Maria Jansdotter(?).

Thank you. I do believe that is him. I followed him and I can also see where his place of birth was changed. Now I can separate the two people. YAY!!
