So Robert, just to clarify, She was a widow? Friedrich died before her?
Next question: Why does it say, "also named Walter?" I am finding some Walters and Wolters. Is that the same family name??
Thank you in advance, Linda

Yes, she was the widow of Friedrich Wilhelm Wolter, so he died before she did.
"also named Walter":
It means her husband's name was sometimes spelled "Wolter" and sometimes spelled "Walter" and in this particular family line, when searching you should consider both spellings.

Based on Charlotte's age at death, you should be looking for a birth/baptismal record in late April 1802.

Robert, I'm trying to find her birth record (Trebbin, Teltow, Brandenburg, Preußen) here, but Archion does not have this area digitized yet. And Ancestry and Family Search seem to have it digitized, but she isn't listed anywhere. What do you suggest? I guess she could be from another area, however, I'm not sure how to figure that out? Any suggestions? Linda

Actually I am looking in Teltow. I think that could be it.

If Teltow doesn't work, broaden your search by searching in all of Brandenburg, then if Brandenburg doesn't work, broaden your search to all of Germany. Remember though to include her birth year and perhaps a plus-or-minus 1 or 2 years on either side of 1802, to at least narrow your results to something reasonable.
