What does the word "confereret" mean that appears in Danish burial records? Could not find any translations or explanations online.

Google Translate says it means "conference". Could be. Does that fit the context.

Could you share an example from an image or (preferably) a link to an example?

Normally the churchbook was in two versions, One at the parish priest and the other one is the kontra book, which is the one we can see. The books was never to be under the same roof. Reguarly they were compared, to see they are alike, this is konferering, past tense konfereret/confereret.
