Director?
Who oversees the FamilySearch center now that there are no directors? Will that 'Director' position be changed to something else?

The stake Director title is now: ( last time I looked) Stake Temple and Family Search—Family Search.
I call myself the “lead”, but I don’t know if that is kosher.

Lead is probably good, @Charmiller2 . This chart shows Leader.
This is how I understand it. There is a Stake Family History Consultant led by the Stake President and High Councilor assigned to Family History. In the Ward, there is a Family History Leader with Family History Consultants on their team with the following structure.
I sometimes notice people using Family History and Family Search interchangeably.

You're a New Consultant. Now What: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J91kzYJ5-4Y&t=33s (about 4 minutes for the Ward plan). About 11:34 for the Stake Consultants.
I hope that is helpful. ~Marcia
