I'd be much obliged if anyone were so kind to translate this for me. I think it´s a marriage record for Joseph Richter and Margaretha Hoffmann from Feburary 1st, 1750 in Koleč but I'd like to know what else it says.

The first line has to do with the three banns that are posted. It looks like 11 and 18 and ? of January, I am having a difficulty with the bride. Would you post the link please, so i can blow it up.

Can any of our helpers make sense of the other words in this record. The patron is correct in thinking it is her ancestors.

Wow, that is ugly! You have a mixture of German alphabet and Latin words here that makes it very difficult to work with... plus you have Czech words thrown in for a dash of even more "fun."

They married on 1 February here. Banns appear to have been read on the 11th, 18th, and 21st of January in one location. There appears to be technical/administrative language about who performed the ceremony [it is the same for all of the entries on this page], then [occupation?] Joseph Richter and Madonna [Mary] Hoffmann, daughter of Petr [Hoffmann], "Kolony" farmer, were married. [All of the entries on this page only appear to name the father of the bride, "dcera ob" being Czech for daughter of.]

Witnesses: Antonia Kirschbauer of [looks like the same town name], Veronyka Czubecov of [a different town, starts with an X?].

I, J Vincentius Ekenstein, performed the marriage.
