I need a little bit of help translating this marriage record. It's from 's Gravenhage on 12 March 1617. The entry is image 238 top left, 2nd one down. What I have so far is: Niclaes Bourle JM Soldaert ... met Peternel Nolans Wed Beijde bij La Saillie won alhier in 's Gravenhage.

One other question: is La Saillie a place in France? They had a daughter baptized in the Waals Church in 's Gravenhage. Thanks, Ira

The place you think to read is not a place , but a term that is difficult to read or interpret. It is an annotation that belongs to the margin ; not the article itself and also indicates the date,ik can read April in it , and i can find the remark several times on this page=>also on many others, along with other phrases.I you really want to read it or have someone that can read it,i would advise, go to the webpage "Wat staet daer" and post the snip you want to translate.Other option, dump the article to the printer Black/white; and overdraw all in the left hand margin with red, this will separate the chaff and grain. Most difficult final option, use all other articles to get all alphabet letters in your eyes along with the stroke of the scribe.
