Since some days, adding a child with known ID in my iPad app (4.7.4) shows a screen with the line for entering the ID is not reachable any longer. Could you please check?
@Steffen Bühler : It works okay for me on an iPhone, but I suppose there could be some difference on an iPad (even though it is the same Family Tree app). To be clear, could you explain what steps you are taking? Are you on the Spouses tab for some person and then you tap the Add Child button? And when you do choose Add Child, do you not see the Add by ID option, or do you see it but it malfunctions in some way?
If you could capture a screen shot or two, that might also help clarify what is happening.

Thank you for the excellent details. It must be a problem unique to the iPad. I'll make sure that someone looks into it.
It turns out that the problem is with iOS 17, not specifically an iPad. In any case, it will be fixed in the next release of the iOS Tree app.

Though iOS was updated several times and is 17.0.3 now, the issue still remained. Anyway, since the last update of the app (to 4.7.5, Oct 17th) it is fixed.
I'm sorry my wording was unclear. I was trying to say that the problem was in the app, but only for devices using iOS 17 (not that the problem was with iOS 17 itself). In any case, as you correctly noted, the latest release of the app fixes the problem.
