Translation request - need help deciphering a surname please
I am trying to find the christening record for Mette Laursdatter #L4KV-1C9. The 1845 census shows she was born about 1769 at Værum, Randers. I have found only one Mette Laursdatter within a five year period in Værum, so this seems the most likely person. Her christening is on the right hand page, top entry at: https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=171263#171263,28747661
Here is an image of that record (image # 20 on sa.dk) The year is 1771, I figured out that the christening was on the feast day "Lætare" which would have been 10 March 1771 :
I can't make out the father's surname. The marriage for this Laurs is on image # 18 - the year of this marriage is 1768. This record didn't really help me determine the surname of Laurs' surname.
I have not yet found a marriage record for Mette Laursdatter and her husband, Soren Pedersen. The first child we have for the couple was born at Tilst, Aarhus in 1807. (Which is her husband's place of birth)
I have not been able to find the parents of Mette in any census records.
I appreciate your help!

Laurs' surname in both records is Ladsen.
There is a marriage record for Søren Pedersen and Mette Larsdatter in Åby, Århus, Denmark on 12 October 1805. Åby is quite close to Tilst (they are in the same Hasle Herred) so it is a possibility that it is the correct couple. See the map for Århus county here: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/%C3%85rhus_County,_Denmark_Genealogy.
The marriage record is here (right-hand page, top entry): https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=172892#172892,29028460. The marriage record says she is the daughter of Lars Nielsen so she can not be the same Mette whose father is Laurs Ladsen. An indexed version is in FamilySearch here: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FV59-WLT.
Just a reminder that Laurs and Lars would be considered the same name-just a slight difference in spelling. That happens a lot with names-they are spelled the way the person writing the record thought they should be spelled!
