Great-Grandma's Birth Certificate - Location of Registration
Hi, I am trying to find the birth registry for my great grandma, Szili Katalin - Born 1913.
According to family, (grandad and his brothers - they all agreed - or all have worsening memories) She was born in Slegoslevica. However, I managed to find my great grandma and great grandad's Marriage certificate, which is linked here - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-89QF-7T5D
States that she was born in Sljivosevci. Now, with that, I've looked at the county, which is Osijek-Baranja County, the village is in Magadenovac municipality. I don't know, whether all this would come under Croatia, Yugoslavia or the Austro-Hungarian Kingdom.
I've looked at the Croatian Church books https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/2040054 but I am completely lost at this point. I've tried looking through all the different areas, and I cannot even find a book for 1913, they all seem to stop by 1899. Is anyone aware, where they used to register newborns, or does anyone have any pointers on where else to look? (best bit is, I dont think the family was from Croatia, because I've managed to find my great grandma's great grandparents, and they are all from Hungary !!!)
