Question on Guild Records
In the Family Search wikki the records are located in the national Library of Wales but have not been able to locate the records. My DNA is 21% Wales and 24% Scotland. The guilds in Scotland Date in the 16th century and as early as the 17th century in Wales. On the 1851 census David Davies was a smith Sticker and his father John Davies was a Smith on his Son's Second marriage in 1847. David Davies was born in Aberporth in 1801 on the 1851 census and migrated to Eastern Wales in the mining community. All David's Children where christen in the Calvinist Methodist church. 50% of Scotland was non conformist and not part of the Church of Scotland in the 16th century. This is according to the Wikki of Scotland. The Freedom records of the Guilds would give the father and the Son and the migrations of such. I was not able to find the archive in the library of Wales. Could you help me.
